About the renewal of residence permits…
Requests to renew a residence permit are long and complex procedures, creating anxiety, stress, and thus a more delicate implications in your studies. We think with CSTE that the renewal of residence permits must become very simplified and free.
It should also be noted that several documents asked for the procedure are absurd, and even discriminatory, most notably the one attesting about students’ financial ressources, sorting between students who have the means and those who should not have the possibility to come study in France.
A delay in issuing the documents makes it impossible for the students to to have an employment contract, pushing down students further into precarity or forcing people to undeclared work, which is more dangerous !

“The factory of undocumented immigrants”
For years, the capitalist and liberal politics, led by Macron, have been unceasingly unravelling public services. Prefectures, like other public services, are understaffed, leading to workplace suffering and mistreatment of both agents and users.
The result: inhuman delays, a lack of training for agents to meet the needs of foreign nationals, and sometimes even racism on the part of certain agents.
Dematerialization and dehumanization: ANEF
In addition, the people concerned have to cope with institutional violence and suffer dehumanzation, reinforced with the obligation to deal with digital platform like ANEF which distanced from any helps and transformed into simple numbers and statistics, with impossible appointments, unanswered E-Mails, etc.
